Bloom Branches

The flower towers that dispel mist, reveal the map and open fast travel across Idyll.

Bloom Branches are the giant flower towers dotting Idyll, and they're the backbone of exploring it. Climb one and it blooms, clearing the mist around it, marking the region's map and opening a fast-travel point — the fastest way to turn an unknown coastline into a navigated home.

What Bloom Branches do

Climbing a Bloom Branch clears nearby map mist, marks fast-travel points and sometimes reveals hidden Lumen treasures around it. Regions on the atlas list their Bloom Branch among each region's points of interest, so you can plan which tower to open next instead of wandering.

A practical climbing order

  • Open the tower nearest a settlement first — settlements plus a tower give you a full resupply circuit.
  • Prioritise towers that border your next intended region; crossing mist is slow.
  • Towers near a Sanctuary make puzzle retries painless.

What you need before climbing

  • Climbing endurance comes from Lumens upgrades — if you keep sliding off, return shrine rewards first.
  • Some branches need a glide to cross a final gap; check whether your route is a climb or a climb-then-glide.
  • Weather-mutated regions can slow climbs; clear-weather windows are the easiest.

After the bloom

Once a branch blooms, sweep the revealed area for the Lumens it exposed and any points of interest it marked. The reveal is one-time — grabbing everything in one pass saves re-travel later.
