Legendary creature hunts

Bank Legendary Tokens, craft the Legendary Anipod and bring down a Legendary.

Legendary capture was rebuilt between beta and launch: raw luck is out, preparation is in. Capturing a Legendary now runs through Legendary Tokens earned from endgame content and a crafted Legendary Anipod — a deliberate pipeline that makes the hunt a project rather than a lottery ticket.

How legendary capture works

The post-beta system centres legendary capture on a crafted Legendary Anipod plus Tokens earned from endgame content. You don't throw pods at a Legendary and pray — you qualify for the attempt, craft the tool, then fight. Plan the token farm before the fight, not after.

  • Legendary Tokens come from endgame activities — Hollow Battle clears, Omega raids and events.
  • The Legendary Anipod is crafted, not bought, so the farm includes its materials.
  • Only the crafted pod can capture a Legendary; save every lesser pod for the rest of your hunting life.

The fight itself

Legendary fights are the game's real gear check: heavy Break output, real element coverage and a Heal anchor are assumed. Learn the phases before you burn your attempt — watch a rotation, take the openings you can actually finish, and Twin for every punish window.

After the catch

A captured Legendary is a long-term investment. Feed it like one: Capability Fruit, Starup and Inheritance planning all apply, and a Legendary raised patiently will headline your squad for the rest of the game.
