Pre-Launch Letter Is Really a Changelog: Runes Cut, Irisalis Redesigned
The dev team letter confirms Xbox cloud gaming at launch and lists what changed since beta: runes are gone, legendary capture is rebuilt around crafted Anipods, and Prismana odds are flattened.
A changelog wearing a letter's clothes
Pawprint Studio's pre-launch letter reads less like a farewell and more like patch notes for the version players will actually get on September 16. Alongside the confirmation that Xbox cloud gaming will be available at launch, it lists concrete systems that changed between the beta builds and release.
Runes are gone
The rune system from the beta has been cut entirely. Players theorycrafting around beta builds can bin those spreadsheets: whatever power runes used to provide is either folded elsewhere or simply removed. Guide content here tracks the release systems only.
Legendary capture and Prismana reworked
Two more headline changes: legendary capture is rebuilt around crafted Anipods — the Legendary Anipod pipeline our legendary hunts page covers — and Prismana odds are flattened, removing the extreme tails of the beta probability curve. Irisalis, meanwhile, was redesigned outright.
Both changes push in the same direction: fewer lottery outcomes, more preparation-driven ones. The endgame now rewards planning your token farm and your variant hunts instead of hoping for a lucky roll.
