Pre-Download Is Open: Server Times, Accounts and Specs
Pre-download opened September 14 on PC, PS5 and Xbox. The notice names the three launch servers, their opening times, account rules, and refreshed PC specs plus mobile requirements.
Pre-download and server times
Pre-download opened September 14 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox, giving players two days to get the client in place before the September 16 unlock. The official notice names three launch servers and their opening times, so squad-mates coordinating a start should compare notes on which server and time window they're committing to before the rush.
Account rules worth checking
The notice also spells out the account rules for launch — which logins carry over progress across platforms, and how the PC and mobile releases relate. If you plan to start on PC and continue on mobile when it arrives September 23, read that section before creating characters: cross-save behaviour is tied to your account choice at the start.
Refreshed specs
PC specs were refreshed alongside the pre-download, and the notice includes mobile requirements for the September 23 release. Anyone playing on an older machine — especially around the heat effects in volcanic regions — should check the updated numbers before launch day rather than after.
